I’m sure you are watching your fats, trans -fats, and carbs, but what about salt? Many Americans are forgetting about salt. Let’s face it, whenever we go out to eat we get loads of salt. The average American takes in somewhere between 4, 500 - 6,000+ mg of sodium each day. The RDA is only 2400 mg/day. Ouch!
If millions of people would cut their salt intake down to approximately 1500 mg/day, millions more wouldn’t have high blood pressure.
