I just finished reading this weight loss exercise program by Jeff Anderson, The Muscle Nerd. Below I have provided my personal Combat The Fat review of this fat burning program.

CTF is a fat loss program taught by the former military fitness instructor Jeff Anderson. Mr. Anderson breaks the code of silence by revealing the body fat loss tricks, and techniques the United States Military uses to get its soldiers into top shape quickly. I originally thought this information was classified information, but it seems The Muscle Nerd insisted on leaking these military fat burning, and fitness secrets out to everyday civilians.

Is Stretching Worth Your Time?

When I was taking Exercise Physiology classes in college, many years ago, we were always taught to stretch before, and after workouts to prevent the chance of injury, and also decrease the possibility of soreness.

For many years, this was the standard. Therefore, I have always advocated stretching. Of course, I was always interested in decreasing the change of injury, but my other main goal was to increase clients’ flexibility.

Sounds good so far, right? Stretching is awesome!

Not so fast.  What all the experts originally thought about injury prevention, and decreasing soreness may be completely wrong.
