Speed Up Your Metabolism

So you want to speed up your metabolism? Most people dream about it. The good news is there is a simple way to do speed up your metabolism so. It requires eating food. Yes, eating! Allow me to explain.

Practically everywhere, including some nutrition textbooks, state that all calories are created equal. One calorie of fat burned equals One calorie of protein burned. That makes sense. Doesn’t it? Not so fast!

A recent study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation studied two groups of people to determine the impact of over-feeding individuals – one group candy, and the other peanuts. Both groups were given the same exact number of calories. However, group one was given candy, and group two peanuts.

The result of the study after two weeks showed an increase in insulin levels, body weight, and waist circumference in the candy group only.

Surprise! Not all calories are created equal! So why didn’t the peanut eating group gain the same belly circumference as the candy group even though the calories were exactly the same? Simple! A high glycemic calorie such as candy has a different effect on the body versus a peanut calorie.

Save Time On Your Fitness Program

It looks like I anticipated a fitness program trend 1 year before it hit mainstream. Well, it is predicted to be big in 2010. 

ACE (American Council on Exercise) just released its top 10 physical fitness program trends for 2010. Guess what is Fitness Program Secrets number 3 for 2010? What I saw coming over a year ago – time efficient workout programs for the super busy person.

In 2009, I answered the bell when my Wellness Word subscribers, and customers stated one of their biggest fitness exercise program challenge is squeezing it into their busy lives. My valued customers were asking for an efficient, time saving workout program they could get maximum benefit from. I answered the bell by creating my biggest, and best fitness program tutorial ever called Fitness Program secrets.

My goal when creating the exercise system was to limit exercise time to less than 1 hour a week, and at the same time, making sure it delivered amazing results. After my 60 day test, it worked like gang busters. As a matter of fact, I am still using all of the principles found in Fitness Program Secrets today.  Why would I change?
