Have you had you omega 3 fatty acids today? According to the highly researched benefits of fish oil, an essential fatty acid, you are missing the boat if you are not taking it. Of all nutritional supplements today,  fish oil has miles of research to back its claims.

If I had a choice of taking one nutrient, it would be fish oil, hands down. All the scientific research backs its effectiveness.

Even if you eat fish it is difficult to get an adequate amount of Omega 3 to close the gap with 6′s. Failure to do so could result in a possible increase in disease.

The most promising benefits of fish oil are a reduction in inflammation. Omega 3 fish oil is an anti-inflammation source, while Omega 6 is an inflammatory causing essential fatty acid.  Inflammation causes bodily disease. Therefore, it is important to eliminate the inflammation. Omega 3 fatty acids found in foods such as fish oil, and flax seed oil do such things.

Fish oil also works positively on the brain, and in the blood. It has been shown to decrease blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and squash the symptoms of depression.

There are only two types of fats you really need to know about – good fat, and bad fat. The good fats are the essential fatty acids found in omega 3, 6, and 9.  The bad fats are the saturated, and trans fats found in red meat, cheese, and baked goods. Strive to eliminate the saturated fats, and trans fats. As a result of the benefits of taking fish oil, strive to get more into you diet.

The benefits of fish oil are clearly stated in the scientific research. To maintain ultimate health, I highly recommend you supplement your diet with omega 3 fish oil. There is too much evidence stating how beneficial it is for your health not to be taking it.
