Remember how popular the low carb diets were a few years ago? As everyone, including clients, tried to tell me the low carb diets are the magic bullet to fat loss, I kept telling them it is the calories consumed that matters the most.

Fast forward to today. What I have been preaching for 20 plus years has now been backed by a scientific study of 811 people that was published in the New England Journal Of Medicine.

To get the whole story, listen to the short audio below by clicking the start button. It will set the pace for a successful nutrition plan.

Included in the audio is a special announcement regarding my “secret fitness program project.” Yes, it is going to happen! I announce when, why, and how in the audio. I’m really excited about it!

Fitness Questions of the Week

Q - How much do genetics affect your possible results. Such as size and proportions. I asked this question to a lot of sites without a reply. Also bone structure size how does this affect your future muscle development. If you can’t answer these questions I will understand. Do small wrists limit overall size?

A - This is a very common question. Genetics play a significant roll in overall muscle size, shape, and strength. Our bodies all physiologically develop muscle in the same manner; however, our inate adaptability to exercise can be different. Therefore, our muscle results vary.

Each individual has a clear genetic blueprint to muscle size, symmetry, and proportion. Lou Ferrigno can’t suddenly turn into Arnold Schwartzenegger by training a different way.

I am not aware of any studies that show small wrists limit muscle growth.

The bottom line is maximize YOUR genetics. Compete against yourself.
