Watch out! Diet nutrition supplements could be hazardous to your health. At least some of them, as the FDA pulled the plug today on 14 Hydroxycut products that accumulated 23 reports of serious liver injuries from jaundice to death.Diet Nutrition Supplements

The moral of the story here is to be careful of the health and fitness nutrition supplements you purchase. If it sounds too good to be true, and is full of secret proprietary herbs, then your red alert flag should go up.

If you insist on buying diet nutrition supplements, you are taking a chance because you have no idea how well they were tested, and how safe they really are. The 14 Hydroxycut products are a perfect example. The claims all sound good until you are adversely affected.

Here is a list of the FDA banned Hydroxycut products:

If you are taking any of these diet nutrition supplements, please stop immediately! This is the FDA recommendation.

Hydroxycut Regular Rapid Release Caplets
Hydroxycut Caffeine-Free Rapid Release Caplets
Hydroxycut Hardcore Liquid Caplets
Hydroxycut Max Liquid Caplets
Hydroxycut Regular Drink Packets
Hydroxycut Caffeine-Free Drink Packets
Hydroxycut Hardcore Drink Packets (Ignition Stix)
Hydroxycut Max Drink Packets
Hydroxycut Liquid Shots
Hydroxycut Hardcore RTDs (Ready-to-Drink)
Hydroxycut Max Aqua Shed
Hydroxycut 24
Hydroxycut Carb Control
Hydroxycut Natural

Please note, the two health supplements, Hoodia, and Hydroxycut Cleanse seem to be ok at the time of this blog post.

As required by law, dietary supplement companies must report any adverse claims to the FDA. There were 23 adverse reports from the Hydroxycut products above ranging from cardiovascular problems, and seizures, to serious muscle damage  that can cause kidney failure (rhabdomyolysis). As you can see, it is not a good idea to mess around with the diet nutrition supplements listed above. Swim at your own risk!

So why did this happen? Aren’t the nutritional supplement industry regulated like drug companies? The answer is a big no! Manufacturers of diet nutrition supplements are responsible for ensuring, and documenting the ultimate safety and efficacy claims of its products. They don’t have to prove anything to the FDA prior to you putting them in your mouth.

How well do they research and test their health and fitness nutrition supplements before you put them into your body? Who knows? Profit is involved so what is their main objective? Money, or really helping people.

I simply don’t trust the nutritional supplement companies. At least, not all of them. My eyes were opened a year ago when I reviewed a book called Homemade Supplement Secrets. When you discover what really goes on behind your back in these nutritional supplement companies, you will begin making your own weight loss supplements from home.

When it comes to dietary supplements, a 25 billion dollar yearly industry, people are desperate for that quick fix. They want to lose body fat, and want it the easy way.

Please understand, there are no secret magic diet nutrition supplements that will quickly melt your fat away. Phen-Phen was the closest, and it was also banned because of adverse health issues.

Bottom line, dear reader, there is no quick magic fix! Please don’t fall into this marketing trap, and get yourself sick.

As a matter of fact, when I was testing my new weight loss fitness program, program, Fitness Program Secrets,  the only nutrition supplement I took was a multivitamin. Did I lose body fat fast? Hell, yes! 15 pounds of pure fat in 60 days, all while working out less than 1 hour a week.

CLICK HERE  to discover exactly how I lost 15 pounds of fat in 60 short days without any “magic dietary supplements.” You don’t need health and nutrition supplements to get amazing results. You just need to understand the basics of fat loss that I teach in Fitness Program Secrets. These basics are  much more powerful than bogus diet nutrition supplements that can potentially hurt you badly.

The reason I decided to make this nutritional supplements blog post is to get you thinking about getting fit, and losing fat the right way, instead of searching for a quick fix bogus pill that could potentially harm your health.

For your reference, here is another FDA list of banned diet nutrition supplements posted in March of 2009. Please don’t take these, and strive to stay away from the quick fix, take a pill solution. It doesn’t work!
