An article written by Harvard professor, Dr. Harvey Simon, suggested it is much better to depend on exercise, and a healthy diet than it is to rely on vitamin supplements, and other nutritional powders to preserve health.
The professor felt a lot of the recent vitamin supplement research has not shown a positive correlation towards certain health benefits such as heart disease, and cancer. Some of the supplement research has even shown an increase risk of cancer by taking large doses.
On the other hand, there are a vast amount of studies promoting the positive health benefits of physical exercise. Therefore, it makes much more sense to focus on physical activity instead of relying on popping so-called miracle vitamin supplements.
