Please be aware of the food you take in during the cooking process, or grabbing into the bread basket prior to dinner. People are generally hungry, and feel they need to put something into their mouths, but are not accounting for the extra calories taken prior to the meal. These extra calories may add up in the multiple hundreds. My advice is to account for everything you put into your mouth - standing, or sitting. A journal will make you more accountable for your caloric intake leading to a decrease in bodyfat, and weight.
